TED CONSTANT CENTER RANKED AMONG NATION’S TOP PERFORMING UNIVERSITY ARENAS

The Ted Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion University has once again been recognized among the nation’s highest grossing university facilities for 2015, according to Venues Today, a nationally distributed magazine focusing on the sports and entertainment industry.

The charts, which cover the period of December 1, 2014, through November 30, 2015, ranked the Constant Center second in universities with a 10,000-seat capacity. Throughout the year, over 400,000 guests were attracted to the 135 concerts, family shows or other multi-purpose events hosted at the Constant Center.

The Constant Center finished 2015 with a number of other rankings and achievements in the entertainment industry. According to Pollstar’s 2015 Year End rankings, the Constant Center was ranked in the top 15 arenas under 10,000 seats in the United States and was the top-ranked arena in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Venues Today also recognized the Constant Center as one of the top stop in the state of Virginia. The Constant Center captured first place in the Best Music Venue category from Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Best of Reader Choice Awards for 2015.

The Constant Center will continue to thrill patrons in 2016.
