Freshman Preview is held in the Ted Constant Convocation Center. The program begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at approximately 5 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided for you and your guests. During Preview, you will receive important information about the University, speak with an academic advisor, have an opportunity to learn about various campus offices and student organizations, and register for classes.
There are 14 Freshman Preview dates throughout the summer, running from mid-June through the week before classes begin in August. There is typically at least one Freshman Preview each week during this time period (except the week of Independence Day), and they all take place on weekdays--there are no weekend dates.
Preview dates fill on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to make a reservation early. Any travel arrangements and/or hotel reservations should be made after your date is secure. Students may select from any of the available dates,* but keep in mind that you'll enjoy greater flexibility while choosing your classes if you attend an earlier Preview.
