Part Time Opportunities

Internships

The Constant Center, Hampton Roads' premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of ODU Basketball, is looking for college juniors and seniors or graduate students to serve as interns in the following departments:

Marketing

The Marketing Department is looking for interns for the fall, spring and summer semesters. As an intern, you will assist in the development of marketing and public relation campaigns for ODU basketball, concerts, family shows, trade shows, etc., participate in grassroots marketing, promotions, club level management, execution of the marketing plans and promotions at various events, and much more.The position is fast-paced and would require extra hours as needed. Group Sales
The Group Sales Department is looking for someone who is motivated, persistent and career-oriented for the fall and spring semesters. As the group sales intern, you will assist in the planning for group sales and marketing for ODU basketball, concerts, family shows, trade shows, etc., research target markets, creating promotional material for group customers, implementing promotions at events, develop new databases for group sales, and much more.The position is very fast-paced and would require extra hours as needed. Event/Operations
The Operations Department is looking for someone who is a hard worker and self motivated 2008-2009 basketball season. As the event/operations intern, you will assist in the planning and set up of events such as basketball, concerts, and family shows. GraphicDesign                                                                                                                                                                 The Ted Constant Convocation Center, Hampton Roads premier sports and entertainment facility and home of ODU Basketball, is looking for a highly dedicated individual with an interest in graphic design, marketing and advertising for a design internship at Ted Constant Convocation Center. Video Production
Do you want a job in entertainment? How about athletics, creative graphics, video editing or broadcast?  Then this is the internship oportunity for you!  As a video production intern at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on the university of Old Dominion, you can gain experience in live sport videography, game entertainment and production, creative graphics, video production, video editing and much more.  Experience is preferred but not required and internships can be customized to match your career objectives.  If you are interested please send a resume to Julie Kindinger, Video Production Coordinator, at jkinding@odu.edu.
