Radio station 94.9 The Point’s “Santapalooza” will feature David Cook, winner of American Idol Season 7.  Millions of people around the country fell in love with rock belter David Cook while watching him make other people’s songs his own week after week on the seventh season of American Idol. Cook won the competition handily thanks to viewers connecting with his rich, unfettered voice and passionately intense performances, not to mention his down-to-earth Midwestern charm. 

Little more than a year after the release of her nearly double platinum debut album “CoCo,” Colbie Caillat has so quickly made such an enduring impact that USA Today declared the California girl a vital part of “a new wave of troubadours luring fans of all ages into a peaceful, easy feeling.” The national newspaper puts her in the company of other platinum plus artists like Sara Bareilles, Caillat’s musical hero Jack Johnson, and her good friend and duet partner, Jason Mraz.

Accompanying David Cook to Santapalooza will be The Script and Green River Ordinance.  The Script are a three-piece Irish pop rock band from Dublin, Ireland. They are currently based in London after signing to RCA Label Group imprint Phonogenic, and their multi-platinum selling debut album The Script was released in August 2008.  Green River Ordinance is an American rock band from Fort Worth, Texas. The band has recently been opening on the Declaration Tour with David Cook.
